Canadian province to launch startup visa targeting U.S. university graduates

The Alberta government in Canada is underway creating a specialized Startup Visa Stream with fast-track processing for qualified graduates of top U.S. universities who commit to launching a start-up venture in the province. Similar visa options will be offered to foreign nationals who have graduated from one of Alberta’s institutions under a new Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Program.
