RCBI People in Focus: Achievements & Awards

Two new Associates, George Markouizos and Nadia Denelava are joining Foutsis & Partners LLP, a law firm based in Athens, Greece, with offices in Cyprus and Canada. Denelava is an immigration attorney specialized in Greece’s Golden Visa programs.

Dr. Denia Ellul, Partner at Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal, has been appointed as the director of three ARQ Group companies, becoming the first woman appointed to the Board of the Group. Based in Malta, ARQ Group provides a wide range of corporate advisory services to both local and international clients.

Armand Tannous has joined Apex Capital Partners Corp., a Uglobal Top 25 award winner, as the Vice President for North America & LATAM. Tannous is working out of the company’s Canada office.

The Globe and Mail, in partnership with Statista, has selected Green and Spiegel as one of Canada’s best law firms. Stephen Green, senior partner at the award-winning law firm, is a Uglobal verified immigration lawyer and a member of the Uglobal Writers Council.

Fragomen has appointed Kanaan Generette Oliver as the firm’s Global Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). With vast experience in designing and implementing DEI strategies for several AmLaw 100 firms, Oliver will be responsible for furthering Fragomen’s commitment to diverse representation and inclusion.

Ideal Homes, a leading real estate agency in Portugal, won the best Real Estate Agency Single Office Portugal award at the European Property Awards 2021-2022. Based in Algarve, Ideal Homes Portugal also serves its global clientele in the country’s Golden Visa space.

Leptos Estates, a winner of Uglobal’s Top 25 Investment Migration Developers award, went on to win awards in three categories at the 2021 European Property Awards.

Frederico Carvalho has been appointed as the business development manager of OptylonKrea. Nicolas Monnier is also joining the company as head of digital marketing. Headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal, OptylonKrea is a Uglobal Top 25 Investment Migration Developers award winner.

Timo Heck, a business immigration expert with more than ten years of experience, has joined Fragomen as Switzerland Practice Leader. He will be based in the global immigration law firm’s Zurich office.

Wendy Craft, chief of staff at Fulcrum Equities, LLC, has been appointed to the advisory board of Latitude Consultancy Limited, headquartered in London, UK. The global firm has recently opened an office in the United States. A leading firm in the RCBI industry, Latitude is a winner of the Uglobal Top 25 Global Immigration Companies award.
