UK released details on its new point-based immigration system

UK’s government has today released the initial details about its new points-based immigration system, which first phase takes effect in January of 2021. To be eligible, an applicant needs to collect 70 points based on a job offer, language skills, salary level and education. Key routes are expected to open for applications in the fall of 2020. Other changes include lowering the salary threshold to 25,600 pounds and the skills level to RQF3. UK will not introduce a low-skilled or temporary work route.
