Angela Sun is a broker dealer with Boustead Securities in Irvine, Ca. Working in the financial services industry, Sun is experienced in international joint ventures, management, sales, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.

Boustead Securities, formerly Monarch Bay Securities, was established in 2006 to assist lower middle market private and public companies in all areas of capital markets formation. Boustead Securities provides financial advice and services covering corporate finance, third-party research, and sales and trading to fast-growing companies, companies facing financial or other challenges, financial institutions, and high net worth clients.

Sun joined Boustead Securities in 2017 as a senior associate in the Investment Banking Group. Her duties include conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions; managing and assisting in the preparation of financial models and business valuations; preparing marketing materials, offering memoranda and management presentations; and assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships.

Before joining Boustead Securities, Sun worked for Hazens Real Estate Group, a Shenzhen-Los Angeles real estate developer with assets under management of more than $1.5 billion. She was a business development officer and focused on real estate acquisitions and debt/equity investments.

Previously, Sun was a business development/investor relations officer at Well Kent International Investment Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of China Cinda Asset Management Company Ltd., a $15 billion market cap Chinese merchant bank. There, she specialized in international mergers and acquisitions, including divestitures, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, recapitalizations, spin-offs, exchange offers, leveraged buyouts and takeover defenses, and shareholder relations. Sun started her investment banking career as a junior associate at Morgan Stanley.

Sun earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in business economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She speaks Chinese, English, and French.
