Dimitrios F. Merges is a Greek immigration consultant. He is a partner at Alivizatos Kiousopoulou & Associates, a law firm based in Athens, Greece.

Alivizatos Kiousopoulou & Associates traces its roots to 1895 in Istanbul, Turkey. It eventually relocated to Greece in 1923. The firm now practices electoral law, human rights law, environmental law, public employment law, civil law and other fields.

Merges made partner at the firm in 2012 and has worked there, first as a trainee, since 2009. He represents foreign citizens with taxation and other legal issues. He is particularly experienced in nationality law, such as the Golden Visa program. He has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2009.

From 2007 to 2008, Merges was a trainee at a government ministry of development, competitiveness and shipping.

Merges has a bachelor’s degree in law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He also has an LL.M. in environmental law from the University of Dundee in Scotland.
