George Iakovou is a lawyer. He leads the litigation Department at S. Parparinos & Associates LLC, Aliant’s member firm in Cyprus.

As head of the firm’s litigation department, Iakovou deals with the research and drafting of legal opinions, drafting of agreements and contracts of any nature. He also works on pre-trial negotiations, preparation of pleadings and documentation for trials, summary judgment motions, trials and enforcement proceedings. Additionally, Iakovou participates in the drafting of acquisition agreements, as well as with general corporate matters.

Before joining S. Parparinos in 2017, Iakovou was senior manager of Navicorp Trust (Cyprus) Ltd. He previously spent nearly five years at Marios C. Mylonas & Associates LLC, where he worked on pre-trial negotiations, preparation of pleadings and documentations for trials, summary judgment motions, and more. Iakovou has a law degree from Leeds Metropolitan University. He speaks Greek and English.
