Giovanna Bernal is a Panama-based attorney and immigration professional. She is a founding partner at Prime Solutions Tax & Legal.

Prime Solutions is a full-fledged firm based in Panama, providing a wide range of legal services that include wealth planning, tax and real estate consultancy, and immigration consultancy as well as a slew of services tailored to the legal needs of businesses.

Bernal graduated with a degree in law and political sciences from Universidad Santa María La Antigua in Panama. She went on to obtain master’s degrees and executive programs in commercial law, business administration, tax law, and higher education. She is also certified on the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism from the FIBA AML Institute of Florida.

Bernal is an active member of a number of associations, including The Association of Panama Compliance Officers, the Panamanian Association of Professionals in Taiwan, World Compliance Association, the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners, the Institute of Corporate Governance and the Panamanian Institute of Tax Specialists. She is also the former president and founding member of the International Fiscal Association of Panama, and current vice president of the Association of Compliance Advisors. Bernal is part of the Bar Association of Panama’s Immigration Commission.

She is fluent in English and Spanish.
