Henry Qin has more than 20 years of global experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, business development, corporate strategy, and capital markets. Qin has experience across numerous industries including financial, new energy, consumer electronics, real estate, hospitality, technology and media. He specializes in cross-border transactions, dealing extensively with Chinese outbound investors.

Qin currently works for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) as a senior director, global corporate finance - mergers and acquisitions. He joined IHG in 2015.

Starting his career as a portfolio analyst, Qin assumed various roles with investment banks in the United States and China. He has worked with Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and China Bridge Capital.

In 2014, Qin co-founded Myriad Bigdata, a Shanghai-based data mining and analysis company that focused on integrating cloud computing and artificial intelligence. He is also the founder of Red Cliffs Capital, an investment banking advisory service provider concentrating on China-related business exchanges.

Qin earned a master’s degree in finance at the University of Rochester - William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration in New York. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a master’s degree in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology, also in New York. He speaks Mandarin and English.
