James Hartshorn serves as the director of Asia for Bartra Capital Property Group, an Ireland-based real estate management and investment firm that promotes Ireland’s Immigration Investor Program (IIP) globally.

Bartra Capital Property Group's portfolios cover a wide spectrum of properties, including commercial real estate, residential properties, communal living, social housing, tourism and leisure housing. Bartra is also one of Ireland’s largest providers of healthcare and a promoter of Ireland’s renewable projects. Bartra Wealth Advisors Ltd., a subsidiary of Bartra Capital Property Group, combines the benefits of Ireland IIP with Bartra’s real estate project offers and advises foreign investors on investment and residency in Ireland.

With extensive experience in the real estate market and the investment immigration procedures of Ireland, Hartshorn serves as a liaison between large developers in Europe and the Asian markets. He has spent over seven years in China and gained first-hand knowledge about the Chinese market. He submitted proposals to the Irish government that has brought positive changes to the IIP.

Prior to joining Bartra, Hartshorn served as a director for several companies in China and Ireland, including Credential Partners Asia, BrittenHouse, and Coolawinna Trading Ltd. and Intern Options Ireland.

Hartshorn holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University College Dublin.
