Joanna Jiang has extensive experience working with investment companies and advisers, trust fund managers, brokers and several types of funds in investment management matters. Jiang advises independent directors of mutual funds in fiduciary matters, helps negotiate changes to proposed transactions as well as conducts and documents necessary interviews. She also connects clients with experts in valuation, accounting, investment banking and other areas to assist them in their work.

Jiang’s experience also includes advising multinational companies on topics such as international taxation, cross-border transactions as well as both inbound and outbound Asian investments. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, she has a wealth of experience in representing companies located in Asia and Greater China that are doing business in the United States. Her focus includes market access, direct investments, public and private funds, capital markets and technology transfers.

Jiang is knowledgeable in the various real estate industries, including industrial, retail, residential, health care and infrastructure. She is admitted to practice law in the states of New York, New Jersey, Illinois and Washington, D.C. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law degrees at Peking University, and then her Juris Doctor and Master of Law degrees at Washington University in St. Louis.
