Kitty Liu is a cross-border transaction advisor with JLL, a global commercial real estate firm. Headquartered in Chicago, JLL is a Fortune 500 company with more than 280 offices in 80 countries.

As a national director of JLL’s International Capital Group (ICG) China team, Liu’s primary role is to facilitate Chinese cross-border capital flow. Based in Beijing, Liu helps Chinese institutional investors and developers access global investment opportunities in North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe. She also supports global and regional capital markets teams in project marketing in China, coordinates the sale, purchase, and financing of assets with Chinese investor appeal, and advises Chinese investors to ensure consistent service delivery across borders.

Before joining JLL in 2015, Liu worked for another global real estate firm for more than nine years. There, she was a senior director of the Client Care and Development China team and Global Capital Markets China team. Liu focused on client relationship management with the firm’s Chinese strategic accounts, including institutional investors, developers, and corporates, servicing them across business lines and geographical locations, both domestically and globally.

Liu earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of International Business and Economics, and she earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at Nankai University, both in China. Liu speaks Mandarin and English.
