Lihe Liu is the founder and partner of LB&Co Solicitors and Notary Public, a law firm based in Glasgow, Scotland. He has more than 20 years of experience in litigation, U.K. immigration law, real estate law and transportation law, among other fields. He founded the LB&Co in 2000 and currently serves as the chief barrister of the company.

He worked for the Development and Reform Commission in Shanghai and in the Qinghai Province before moving to the U.K. in 1991 as a visiting scholar, where he studied economics, international politics and law. He has also served as executive editor at an international academic journal.

Liu, a certified solicitor and notary in the European Union, is a board member of Future International Education Group. He is a member of the Law Society of Scotland and has worked for the All Party Parliamentary China Group.

Liu is chief counsel of Scottish Fujian Chamber of Commerce and a legal advisor for the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Liu earned a bachelor’s degree in national development and economics from Southwest University in China, a master’s degree in international politics from Renmin University of China, and a doctorate in politics and political public relations from University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Liu also has a juris doctor from Glasgow Caledonian University.

He has attended conventions featuring U.S. presidents and senators.
