Marios Djalev is a Cyprus auditor and tax consultant. He is the founder and currently the managing director at Bariono Wealth Advisors Ltd., a Nicosia-based accounting and audit consultancy serving international companies and individuals.

Bariono has a broad spectrum of clients in a myriad of industries, including investment, energy, construction, shipping, retail and entertainment. The firm performs statutory and special purpose audits, accounting and fiduciary services. Its scope of practice in the Cyprus residency and citizenship-by-investment industry includes pre-immigration tax planning, immigration consulting, assets allocation and relocation.

As a veteran accountant, tax consultant and auditor, Djalev applies his abundant experience to his current position at Bariono. He advises clients on accounting, auditing and tax issues for their companies in Cyprus, and assists high net worth individuals with investment appraisals, tax strategy optimization, compliance in international reporting standards and immigration to Cyprus.

Currently, Djalev also serves as a financial controller at Elements Capital Partners Ltd., a Nicosia-based boutique financial advisory with focuses on private equity investment and distressed assets. Djalev helps clients handle accounting issues, financial statements and budget plans. He also performs investment appraisals and portfolio valuations. Prior to joining Elements Capital Partners, Djalev served as an auditor at BDO Cyprus and other Cypriot audit firms.

Djalev is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Washington State University. He also holds CySec’s advanced certificate for the financial services regulatory framework.

Djalev speaks Greek, English and conversational Bulgarian.
