Burçin Barlas is a Turkish immigration attorney. He is the founding partner of Barlas Law Firm (BLF), an Istanbul-based law firm.

BLF practices in the area of family law, EU law, corporate law, administrative law, labor law, immigration, energy, IT, publishing, intellectual property, franchising, real estate, advertising, capital markets, insurance, sports and taxation. The firm also handles litigation and arbitration cases. In the arena of immigration, BLF provides comprehensive consultancy services on Turkish work permits, resident permits, naturalization, asylum and refugee protection. Partnering with law offices abroad, BLF helps Turkish citizens navigate the complex process of migrating to countries in Europe and the Caribbean.

With expertise in real estate law, commercial law and corporate law, Barlas advises domestic and international clients on business establishment, trust structuring, financing, real estate construction and insurance. Barlas has extensive experience in corporate restructuring. He assists institutional clients in liquidation, insolvency, bankruptcy proceedings and debt recovery.

Prior to establishing BLF, Barlas served as an attorney at Price Waterhouse Coopers, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, corporate law and privatization.

Barlas is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

Barlas holds a bachelor's degree from Marmara University in Turkey, and a master’s degree in European law from Stockholm University in Sweden.
