Pascal Jiang is a cross-border transaction advisor and a partner in Dentons’ Shanghai office. His areas of expertise include technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT), entertainment, and sports. He also focuses on outbound investments in mining.

Jiang advises his clients on mergers and acquisition, joint ventures, cross-border investments, regulatory and compliance, fund formation, fund portfolio investment, and start-up financing. Jiang advises foreign investors looking to enter the China market, and he consults with Chinese clients on outbound investments, particularly in the mineral and natural resources sector in Australia and Southeast Asia.

Before joining Dentons in 2014, Jiang was a senior associate with TransAsia Lawyers, also in Shanghai, for seven years. Previously, he worked for Herbert Smith Freehills, an international law firm in Sydney, Australia, and Duan & Duan Law Firm in Shanghai.

Jiang earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at Shanghai International Studies University. He received his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at Fudan University in Shanghai. Jiang is admitted to practice law in the People’s Republic of China. He is also a member of the China Computer Federation. Jiang is proficient in four languages–Cantonese, English, French, and Mandarin.
