Antigua & Barbuda

Robert J. Wilkinson is a United Kingdom-chartered accountant with more than 30 years of experience. He is currently a partner with Grant Thornton Antigua, which provides assurance, tax and business advisory services for local and international clients. He is also a joint liquidator for an Antiguan offshore bank.

Wilkinson is a licensed agent under the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program, a position he has held since the program’s inception in 2013. He has successfully processed more than 180 applications from throughout the world under the program.

In addition to providing citizenship and residency services, Wilkinson’s firm provides all services pertaining to investment in or migration to Antigua and Barbuda, such as location advice, taxation, back office work, financing, business growth support and auditing. Grant Thornton Antigua serves both corporate and individual clients.

Wilkinson has a bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting and financial management from the University of Sheffield. In 1994, he joined Grant Thornton Antigua and made partner in 1998. Prior to that, Wilkinson worked for KPMG.

He is a practicing fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean. Since 2008, Wilkinson has served as honorary British consul to Antigua and Barbuda.
