Paul Schon

Paul Schon is the co-founder and managing partner of Schon Tepler Group, Inc. (STG) in Los Angeles, Ca. STG is a full-service real estate investment, development, construction, and property management firm that handles multifamily residential properties throughout Southern California.

STG’s strategy is to create value through acquisition, ground-up development, repositioning, and management of multifamily and mixed-use real estate. The company primarily looks for urban locations close to colleges, workplaces, retail centers, and major transportation corridors.

Schon and co-founder Artem Tepler formed STG in 2009 to put their knowledge and experience in the multifamily and residential real estate business to work. Their knowledge and experience combined with economic variables and real estate trends helped drive their initial business model, which was to acquire, renovate, and sell distressed residential and multifamily properties during the Great Recession.

Schon Tepler Realty (STR), an affiliate of STG, provides financial services to assist with the construction and financing of STG assets, working with local community banks and lenders. Schon Tepler Construction, Inc. (STC), the licensed and bonded general contracting division of STG, provides a complete range of construction services.

Before starting his own company, Schon was a multifamily broker for Marcus & Millichap commercial real estate firm L.A. Previously, he worked for Prudential Dunn in La Jolla, Ca.

Schon earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in international studies at the University of California, San Diego. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.

Schon is a member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization. He is also a member of the Commerce Bank of Temecula Valley Board of Directors.
