Sofoklis Michail is a Cyprus international tax consultant. He is the tax department director at AsusPlus Auditors and Tax Consultants Ltd.

Based in Cyprus, AsusPlus offers a broad range of services both locally and abroad. Its services include forensic audits, international taxation and audits of accounts under international financial reporting standards. It also offers migration and accounting services. Its clients include individuals, entrepreneurs, large organizations and complex international businesses.

At AsusPlus, Michail heads a team of five and oversees a client portfolio of more than 300 legal entities and people. He is also head of its InterTaxAudit tax training and technical team, and is actively involved with its tax seminars. Michail joined the boutique firm in 2015.

Previously, Michail worked as a tax advisor for DFK DemetriouTrapezaris Ltd., where he was focused on tax advisory work. Serving both local and international clients, Michail was involved in group reorganizations, tax structuring and re-domiciliation of companies to or from Cyprus.

Michail is a graduate of the London School of Economics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. He is an ACA-qualified tax consultant and holds an advanced diploma in international taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
