Wei Deng is a Chinese-American real estate attorney of Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell’s Global Hospitality Group® and Chinese Investment Group™.

The Global Hospitality Group® of JMBM represents hotel developers, owners, and lenders, providing services such as creating reviewing hotel agreements and joint venture structures, assigning hotel operators and other optimal team members, connecting clients with the best brands and much more. Chinese Investment Group™ is a team of hotel and real estate lawyers within the Global Hospitality Group® that focuses on Chinese investment in the United States. Deng’s work at JMBM includes financing, transactional and similar business matters. He also has experience working on several litigation matters involving fiduciary duties, hotel management agreements, joint venture opportunities and other real estate issues.

Before JMBM, Deng worked at an international law firm in Tianjin. There, he gained experience in China-U.S. commercial transactions. He was also a key player in the acquisition of a local enterprise by a Fortune 500 company.

Deng is admitted to practice law in the state of California. While studying at University of California, Irvine School of Law, Deng also externed for Judge James J. Di Cesare at The Superior Court of California. He speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
