What is the appeal process for Cypriot citizenship by descent?
The Cyprus High Commission in London refused my application because I could not provide my parents' birth certificates, which is not a prerequisite under the type M121 application as I understand it. (My parents are both deceased and were Cypriots born in small villages in Larnaca in the 1920s). Could I ask, what is the procedure for appeal?

Unfortunately, in this case there is no appeal process because proving the fact that your parents were Cypriots is a fundamental part to the application process.

The birth certificates are not a requirement. If you have provided all the remaining documents to the embassy, as required for the application, then there should be no issue. Since we are not aware of the circumstances of the application, we are not in a position to advice accordingly. If you have the rejection email or letter we would be able to assist further.
