Can a downpayment qualify for the golden visa in Greece?

Is it possible for a down payment on a house in Thessaloniki to qualify as a real estate investment for the golden visa application, even if the remaining payment will be made after the September 1 deadline? I planned to purchase the property before that date, but some issues with my bank transfers might cause a delay.
