Can anyone set up a business in Turkey?

I am the owner of a trucking company in India. I have some connections in Turkey and they recommend that I establish a branch in the country. I wonder if this is possible since I don’t have a visa/resident permit to Turkey.

It is possible to set up a branch in Turkey. You need to determine a representative who has a resident permit in Turkey. The representative will apply to the ministry of industry and commerce with the necessary documents. to set up the branch.

Turkish Law is based on the principle of equal treatment, allowing international investors to have the same rights and liabilities as local investors. The conditions for setting up a business and share transfer are the same as those applied to local investors. International investors may establish any form of company or branch office set out in the Turkish Commercial Code (TCC). When establishing a company in Turkey, one needs to adhere to some rules and regulations. An application with the required documents must be submitted to the relevant Trade Registry Office for the registration of a branch in Turkey. You can come to Turkey with a tourist visa or issue a power of attorney for starting the establishment procedure.

Yes, anyone can set up a business in Turkey. Foreigners are permitted to incorporate capital companies. Non-resident company branches can also be incorporated in Turkey instead of an independent subsidiary company. One does not need a visa or residence permit for such purposes.
