Can Britons apply for MIIP?

Since the U.K. has left the EU officially, can a British citizen apply for the MIIP program? Are there any special arrangements to keep British citizens’ work and stay rights in Malta?

    Yes, a British citizen can apply for the MIIP. Foreign persons applying for Maltese citizenship will benefit from many advantages. Among these, they will obtain the same rights as the other nationals. They will acquire the right to live and work in Malta, but also to travel freely in all other European countries. Also, Malta is one of the few countries which permit foreign citizens to maintain dual citizenship. Maltese citizens can also relocate and work in another EU country without other additional formalities.
