Can I get the Portuguese golden visa now by investing in the autonomous region of Azores?

Would it still be the same threshold? Are there any differences in the process?

The Azores are also a possibility to invest and obtain the golden visa, where you can also invest in real estate with no limitations (€350K and 500K minimum investment). The application procedure is otherwise the same all over the country.

Under the current law proposal to be discussed by the Parliament, Golden Visa applications will be accepted until a new law is approved and in force.

At this point, the Autonomous Region of the Azores is still eligible for an investment in order to submit an application for a residence permit under the Golden Visa program. The criteria to be fulfilled are the same as if the investment were made in any other part of the country, in accordance with the specific kind of investment you would have in mind.
