Can the income from online-trading like FX or NQ or ES be considered as the eligible income for Digital Nomad Visa?

Can the income from online trading like FX, NQ, or ES be eligible for the Portugal Digital Nomad Visa? I do online trading in the New York Exchange and can show my income through the broker I am dealing with. I have an income of around 4,000 euros per month. But is this kind of activity eligible for a Digital Nomad Visa?

For the D8 - Digital Nomad Visa application the law requires "Proof of average monthly income earned while carrying out subordinate or independent professional activity in the last three months of a minimum amount equivalent to four guaranteed minimum monthly wages" (€3.280,00) as such, in principle, the income from trading activities might be acceptable. However, only a concrete analysis to the existence documental proof would allow a definitive answer.

Unfortunately, it does not. Your income shall be received as a salary or other form of monetary compensation for your work.
