Do I qualify for UAE worker visa if I earn a freelancer income of $3,000?

I'm a freelancer working remotely with clients in the United States with an average income of $3,000. Do I meet the eligibility criteria for the remote worker visa in the UAE? Is it sufficient for only the principal applicant to qualify, or does my spouse also need to be eligible?

A salary certificate of $3,500 or equivalent to foreign currency is compulsory for the issuance of a virtual work residence permit. You do not have a work permit to work in the UAE, but you can enjoy living here with your dependant family.
