Does holding the Vanuatu passport now mean I can't enter the EU easily or is it only removing the visa-free arrangement?

I'm still interested in getting the passport because it's affordable and still better than my original passport, but I’m afraid it would be even more hazardous to travel with it? Is this officially or unofficially the case?
