You can enter legally in Greece with your Schengen Visa, but the stay can be only for three months maximum within a six month period. In order to apply for a residence permit, you would need to provide some required documents as per the case you apply for. A new kind of residence permit along with tax incentives is set to be adopted by the Greek government, called Nomad Visa, which is for entrepreneurs and digital workers. Greek citizenship can be requested after 10 years of legal and permanent stay in the country on a valid residence permit title. Only your spouse or your partner through a cohabitation agreement are viewed as eligible family members of a residence permit holder.
