How can I apply for a Greek golden visa with a property I already bought?
We purchased property in 2022 in Greece (250k+) and transferred funds from our Canadian bank to our Greek bank account. Our lawyer in Greece (through Power of Attorney) paid the seller with an ordinary bank check, which was stated in the contract. At that time, we didn't think we would ever apply for a Golden Visa, but later, we discovered that we could not buy a car in Greece without residency. I recently applied for a Golden Visa, and I received a letter from Greek authorities that we should change our original contract and have a statement that the property was paid by double check, which is not possible now. What are our options now?
