How can I get a Greek golden visa by buying a property for my family to live in?

If I buy a €250,000 property, can I (with my family) live in that property in Greece? Or does the property need to be rented out or a commercial property in order for the golden visa to be issued. Also can my kids, who are 18 years old, work? My wife and I do not need to work, we have income from businesses. We would be moving from the UK.

If you buy a property in Greece for a minimum value of 250,000 euros, you can get the golden visa. You have the right to live in this property or you can rent it out. Golden visa holders do not have the right to work in Greece but they have the right to establish a limited liability company in Greece.

If you buy property, you may live; you do not need to rent. With the residence card, you are not allowed to work as an employee. Kids can incorporate their own business.

Permanent residence permits is granted to third-country nationals who buy real estate with a minimum amount of 250,000 euros. Every kind of property (residential, commercial or even a plot) is eligible under the Golden Visa program. The possibility of leasing that property is optional and upon their decision. The above third-country nationals may be accompanied by members of their family such as the direct unmarried descendants of the spouses, who are under the age of 21. The Golden Visa residence title does not give one access to employment, neither to the main investor nor to his family members. The exercise of business activity is οn the contrary allowed.
