How can I earn a salary as a Greek golden visa holder?

Can I set up a business in an EU country and earn a salary from that business if I am on a golden visa in Greece? I do not care if I have to pay income tax in Greece as I am a resident here.

As a Greek golden visa holder, you are not allowed to work as an employee in Greece. If you do business in the EU, you can get salary or dividends from your company.

Each European country has its own legislation on the prerequisites and conditions for establishing a company and how to operate it legally. Most probably, you will need to apply for a residence permit of the said country for your business activity, but in no case, the fact that you are a Greek Golden Visa holder would be a problem. In any case, before taking such a decision, it would be best to evaluate the whole process from a legal and tax aspect with experts in these areas.
