There are two routes to citizenship: the first is with a direct donation to the National Transformation Fund, which starts at $150,000 for a single applicant; the second is through an investment in an approved development, whereby the minimum investment level for a single applicant is $220,000. There are investments available whereby the full investment amount is returned to the investor at the end of a five-year holding period, thereby, reducing the costs of citizenship for a single applicant to $70,000. Both options have the same processing time and, as a single applicant, I would not expect processing to take more than 90 business days, the question is whether you are prepared to donate the funds or look to get a return after the mandated holding period.
