How can employees in managerial positions reside legally in Greece?

Is it true that if I’m hired for a managerial position in Greece (which I am) that I no longer need a residence permit? What kind of special purpose permit should I get to continue living here legally?

Actually, in order to legally reside in the country you need a residence permit. The kind of residence permit you will be entitled to is depending on the reason your entrance was based on. As a hired executive for a managerial position, you probably keep the related residence permit.
