How can I bring my family if I qualify under Australia's Global Talent visa program?
I'm a successful Indian business entrepreneur and I'm interested in the Global Talent visa. Can I bring my entire family with me under the same application? Is there a limit to the number of dependents I can apply for under the same application?

You can add immediate family members, including spouse and children who are under 18 years of age, or if children are studying and are aged under 23, to your application. Family members who apply for the visa must meet health and character requirements.

Yes, members of a family unit are acceptable in the visa application but this only includes one's spouse/partner and children. There is no limit on the number of dependents under the same application as long as you can prove your relationship with your spouse/partner and children.

There are no limits to the number of people in the family unit for a Global Talent Independent visa application. Dependents are limited to children (and if applicable their children) that are normally under 23 years of age, single and financially dependent. There are certain situations where older children who are incapable of looking after themselves can be included as a dependent children but in this situation they're unlikely to pass the medical criteria which considers factors like welfare support eligibility. You are limited to one spouse (there are strategies for those that have more than one current spouse but they can't be included in the same application). Be aware that the current processing times for the expression of interest are becoming quite lengthy, with a recent update (March 2021) confirming processing was being done for submissions in July 2020. However, if you meet priority criteria (such as being deemed to be important to COVID-19 recovery or response) then your submission may be processed faster.
