Once a property purchase for CBI application is made during the tourist visit (up to 90 days with regular tourist visa or exemption of a visa), the process allows and actually requires the switch to a property purchase based residence permit application and therefore, it is possible. The residence application is realized after a conformity letter is obtained for the purchase, which may take 3 to 8 weeks, therefore it may be wise to handle the purchase within the initial month or so.
