In today's practice, residence permits based on property purchase are no longer allowing dependent applications (spouse or minor children) unless they are also listed as co-owners. At the moment the applications are accepted for one property for one permit basis (thus co-owners may enjoy as part of a family). However, this is not permitted for adult children. The property value was also not a concern in the past, however, today, a minimum $75k to $100k (depending on the district) proven with an independent appraisal report is also sought. As for the adult dependent you mentioned, unfortunately, such is also not permitted. The same rejection of adult dependent (even with disability) is applicable for citizenship by investment option ($400k + property investment) however, at CBI, the spouse and minor children (children under 18) could be made dependents without becoming co-owners.

How can I include my mentally disabled son as a dependent in my Turkey residency by investment application?
I will be buying some residential and commercial properties in Turkey to be eligible for obtaining a residence permit. I also look forward to setting up a small business. I have my wife and two kids: a completely disabled mentally challenged son who is 33 years old and totally dependent on us, and an unmarried 24-year-old daughter. When I apply for a residence permit, will they all be eligible to get a residence permit as my dependents? In what efficient way can I get a residence permit for all of them? Are mentally challenged dependents able to obtain medical insurance in Turkey?
