There are a few options to apply for one of Panama’s residency by investment program. As a Ukrainian, one may either invest $300,000 in real estate and obtain a two-year residency permit that will later on lead to a permanent one, or invest $500,000 and obtain permanent residency upon the first application. This second RBI permit may be accessed with an investment of $300,000 at the moment, but it will be increased to $500,000 afterwards.

Permanent residency can be granted remotely and within 30 to 60 days under the qualified investment visa, with a real estate investment of $300,000 or in securities or bank deposit investments for higher amounts. Other residency options are also available, and they all grant the right to live in the country.
