I want to participate in St. Kitts and Nevis’ CBI program by investing in the real estate market. I plan to use the property for a vacation home rental business. How is my income obtained through this business taxed? What is the tax rate?
There is no income tax in St Kitts. However, if you are operating a rental business based on the property you will have to apply for a business license and once you sign up with the Inland Revenue Department they will inform you of the taxes payable on that income.
