How long do I have to hold my real estate investment in St Kitts so I can continue to hold the passport without legal issues?
I heard that it has to be at least 7 years. Is there a way around this?

You have the passport for life unless you do something that causes the authorities to revoke your citizenship. You have to hold the property for at least 7 years before you can resell.
