How long do I have to wait before I am issued a Golden Visa?
I read a report recently stating that the average case processing waiting time for applications submitted in the Greater Athens area is now two years. Is this true? What are some other immigration authorities outside this area that also accept Golden Visa applications? I want to have my case processed and get my Golden Visa as soon as possible.

Please be aware that the average estimated time for Golden Visas to be issued is approximately one year.

The average time for obtaining a Greek Golden Visa is three to five months, and that depends on any delay in the applicant's paperwork, not from the Greek authorities. For ASAP results, hire professionals for your application for your Greek Golden Visa!

Following the legal procedure, the Golden Visa application can only be submitted to the authorities after all the procedures of acquiring a property have been completed and relevant taxes paid. The faster the implementation of property acquisition, the earlier the appointment settlement date. The location where you submit your application and biometrics data is the key. Within Athens at this moment, the related appointments are delayed due to backlogs and the large quantity of applications. However, following a recent legal amendment, applications for resident permits for property owners can be submitted to any authority of the Ministry of Migration Policy outside Athens. This ensures better time framework so there is no need to worry. In any case, at the time of submission a temporary resident permit is issued and within a two-month period afterwards, the permanent resident permit is ready. Furthermore to the above, you have to address your case to professionals in order to meet the dates effectively for the whole process.
