How will the new annual income requirements affect present permanent residents in Cyprus?

If I already have a permanent residency by investment, would the new rumored rules of having to provide an annual income proof of over €50,000 apply to me or is that just for new applicants?

At this stage, the government has not confirmed whether the existing holders of permanent residence with investment will be affected by the new rules and specifically the proof of annual income of €50.000. It is my opinion though that at some part, the existing holders will be affected by the new rules and shall follow them.

The new rules have not been published yet officially so we are not aware, as of yet, of the guidelines.
