An "investor" resident permit can be extended regardless of the performance of the business, except when: the investment of at least 1.25 million euros has been withdrawn; or the investment does not have added value for the Dutch economy in the view of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO); or the holder of the resident permit is involved with transactions that are deemed suspicious by the Financial Intelligence Unit - Netherlands
