Is Spain really thinking about closing its golden visa program?

I am very worried about the Spanish government decision to analyze closing its golden visa program. I have been saving for years to get the minimum amount and additional money to pay the taxes and everything. I have even traveled to Spain many times in the past few years to identify property locations. And now I'm reading they might cancel the whole thing. I am even thinking about getting a loan and putting my house and business in Colombia as a collateral to fasten my application, but I would really like to know how real is the possibility of the program closing.
