Is there a minimum investment needed for the business option of a Greek Golden Visa?
I want to start a business in Corinth. I have some capital but not enough for me to pursue the 250,000-euro property purchase option. Can I start a business with less than that and get a Golden Visa for my family? How do I accomplish this?

The Golden Visa requires a purchase of land or equity capital worth 250,000 euros. If the company you want to create in Corinth is a branch of a company that exists in China and will employ 25 staff, the resident permit is issued by the ministry of migration policy.

Pursuant to the pertinent provisions of Greek law, the basic requirement for the Greek Golden Visa acquisition is an investment of at least 250,000 euros, either through purchase of real estate property (article 20 of Law 4251/2014) or through investment activity (article 16 of Law 4251/2014). Subsequently, you cannot start your business with less that the above amount.

The existing options for Golden Visa acquisition in the law are two: either through property acquisition or through investment activity. Both options require a minimum investment of 250,000 euros per investor in order for he/she to be eligible for a permanent resident permit as his/her family members too. There are other possible options in immigration law for the establishment of a company affiliated to a foreign one and applying for different type of resident permit as a BOA member, but you have to ask for legal consultancy about this.
