How can I add my future spouse to my Portugal Golden Visa application after the wedding?

I would like to apply for the Portuguese Golden Visa program now before the changes take effect, along with my fiancé. Since we will only marry in January, can I add him to the process later on?

Foreign nationals with a valid residency permit, are entitled to family reunification for family members residing outside national territory. For that purpose, prior to going to a consular post to request a residency permit for family reunification purposes, a foreign national entitled to the right to family reunification should request a concession at the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF), in favor of his/her family members. As soon as a favorable decision has been taken, referred family members can lodge their visa application request for residency purposes.

According to the current law, golden visa applicants can add family members at any time during the golden visa process, meaning, as long as they are holders of a residency permit, they will have the legal right to reunify family members.
