How can I immigrate to Canada again given my PR expired in 2021?

My family immigrated to Canada around 2010, but we had to return to Ireland, and our permanent residency (PR) expired in 2021. I am now looking into how we can obtain a new PR, as I know many things have changed since then. What steps should we take to do this?

To reapply for permanent residency in Canada after your PR expired in 2021, you need to: 1. Check Eligibility: Confirm you meet the residency requirements. 2. Gather Documents: Collect necessary documents like previous PR proof, passports, and travel history. 3. Complete Forms: Fill out required application forms (e.g., IMM 0008). 4. Submit Application: Send your application to IRCC. 5. Pay Fees: Pay the necessary fees. 6. Interview: Attend an interview if required. 7. Medical Exam: Undergo a medical examination. 8. Wait: Allow time for your application to be processed. Consulting with an immigration consultant is advisable to ensure accuracy.

The first step would be to talk with an immigration lawyer and explore your options. The best option for you may not be the best option for someone else, hence a need for a tailor-made action plan.
