Are there any reasons why my Greek Golden Visa renewal would be denied?

I am a Greek property owner and enjoying living in this country. I want to renew my visa and maybe become a citizen someday. However, I am wondering when my renewal comes up after five years, what should I watch out for during the renewal process? What would be reasons for denial? Any help is appreciated.

The only reason for denial could be if you have sold the property. Also, all required documents must be submitted correctly. Otherwise, there is no reason for refusal.

There is no reason to be denied as long as you still have your property.

The resident permit for property owners shall be renewed every five years. To renew your resident permit as a property owner, only the following condition must be met: The real estate property must remain under the possession and ownership of the applicant. This could be proven by the related certificate issued by the competent land registration office.

The only matter you have to present at your application is that you are still a Greek property owner. Then you'll get your Greek Golden Visa renewal.

As the law procedure changes often regarding this case, we will need to check the circumstances for renewal once the period comes, taking into account the applicable legislation and procedure on this during that period.

The renewal of a resident permit is normal, unless the real estate market proves to be fictitious.

As of now there are not a lot of renewals considering how new the Greek Golden Visa program is. To my experience, the renewals that I have dealt with insofar were without obstructions and straightforward, subject to the property owners keeping the ownership under their names, and that all their due payments to taxation authority were duly paid. Therefore, I cannot foresee any reasons for denial. Of course, a good status of observing Greek law and regulations and not committing any serious offense will be a requirement for any renewal.

As long as you still maintain your real estate property, it is not expected that you will face any kind of problem whatsoever.
