How can I and my Canadian partner move to Greece if we are legally pacsed?

I am a French citizen and my boyfriend is Canadian. We are legally pacsed now (French Pacs) which I believe is recognized in Greece as a civil partnership. We want to come live in Greece next year. Does he need a visa or can he just come with me? If he needs a visa like a family visa for instance, does our Pacs work to apply for this type of visa and if so how do we apply?

The Canadian citizen should come with Visa C and apply at the Immigration Office for residence as spouse of European citizen.

According to EU law, every EU citizen has the right to move and reside freely within EU territory. EU citizens are entitled to reside in Greece for three months if they have a valid ID card or passport. They can stay for longer if they are employed or self-employed, or are students, or are in vocational training, or are unemployed but have sufficient funds and health insurance. Furthermore, they can be accompanied by their family members.
