What are current requirements of the Portuguese Golden Visa for Senegalese nationals?

Can I qualify for citizenship later on if I get it or are there special requirements for that?

The criteria that must be fulfilled in order to apply for a Golden Visa does not change independently on the applicant’s nationality. Therefore, the only criterion that you must fulfill in order to be able to apply for the Portuguese nationality is to legally reside in Portugal for a period of 5 (five) years.

On January 23, 2023 Diogo Capela answered:

You will need to meet the investment requirements in order to obtain the Golden Visa. In this sense, we note that the requirements do not differ depending on the nationality of the main applicant. In order to apply for citizenship you must have legal residence in Portugal for at least 5 years.

The requirements for the applicants of Golden Visa or citizenship do not differ according to the applicant's nationality. The general current requirements for Golden Visa are: clean criminal record, proof of investment under the conditions defined in the law, and collection of biometric data.
