What are the residency requirements for investors of Grenada CBI program if they want to apply for a U.S. E-2 visa?

I am planning to apply for the Grenada citizenship-by-investment program and then use my new passport for the U.S. E-2 visa. I know that the Grenada CBI program does not have requirements on the minimum days of residency in Grenada, but if my ultimate goal is to apply for E-2 as a citizen of a treaty country, am I subject to any residency requirements? Do I have to have a valid address in Grenada (owned or rented residential property) to be eligible for E-2? On my E-2 application, will the U.S. care that I am not a native Grenadian?

There are no residency requirements for investors who wish to apply for the E-2 visa. However, it is advisable that you can prove ties to Grenada, such as a real estate investment or viable business to better qualify for the E-2 visa.
